Cecilia Lopez-Bravo

Cecilia Lopez Bravo was born in Miami, USA in 1975, and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a self-taught contemporary jeweler and glass artist, living and working between New York and Mendoza, Argentina. In 2007, she moved to New York and learnt flameworking through a scholarship at UrbanGlass. From that point on, she has never stopped working with glass. Her series Save the Oceans is her artistic attempt to raise awareness of the consequences of climate change by showcasing her views of the coral reefs with her organic forms.
